Dr. Soumi Chatterjee is an Author, Researcher, Academician and an Explorer. Currently, she is the Founder/ CEO at SRTD Group, Faculty Coordinator at Vidhi Seva and Samajik Utthan Samiti and the Editor – in- chief of Doon Journal of Multidisciplinary Research.
She has pursued B.A.LL.B. (H) from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law and PG Diploma in Corporate Laws from Indian Law Institute, LL.M. from Amity University and completed Ph.D. under the title ‘A Socio- Legal Study on Misuse of Anti-Dowry Laws by Women against their Husbands and In-Laws, with special reference to the District of Gautam Buddha Nagar, U.P. – A Critical Evaluation’ from Noida International University. She has practiced advocacy in High Court of Delhi & Supreme Court of India and as Assistant Legal Manager in M/S TATA Teleservices Ltd. She has worked as Assistant Professor at School of Law and Legal Affairs, Noida International University and Institute of Legal Studies and Research, GLA University, Mathura. She is a certified trainer in subjects like ‘Gender Sensitization’, ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ and POSH. She has authored a Book Titled ‘Dowry- Laws and its Misuse in India’ and has edited book tilted ‘From Abused to Abuser- Misuse of Laws in India’. She has appeared in an Interview by the Voice of India Channel. She has numerous research papers both in National and International Journals. She has been awarded with Young Researchers Award by Institute of Scholars.
